I don't understand CPAP readings?

Does anyone know what the following readings mean: AHI , AI , HI ?

AI Apnea Index the number of apnea events per hour
HI Hypopnea index the number of hypopnea events per hour
AHI the sum total of the AI plus HI numbers per hour
