HI, COULD SOMEBODY HELP ME? WHAT IS THE PLASTIC PIECE IN THE CHAMBER FOR???
I HAD 2 CHAMBERS AND THEY DIDN'T HAVE THAT PLASTIC IN IT.
I WENT TO THE DME TODAY AND THEY GAVE ME A BOX AND I DIDN'T OPEN IT UNTIL I GOT HOME.

Are you using a Respironics humidifier? Just got mine this week and the DME commented that it had a new little plastic insert toward the top that he had never seen before, which probably was there to prevent splash-back into the xPAP unit.
