The $1,000,000.00 night

Post by carbonman » Tue Oct 27, 2009 7:03 am

I had the $1million dollar night.
I was asleep before my head hit the pillow.
I dreamed and dreamed and dreamed.
I woke up my usual 3-4 times....but went right back to sleep.
I almost enjoy that because now that it is colder and I'm using
my Ozzy HH, it is so comforting to pull it under the covers.....
and it's all warm and.......well.....you know what I mean.
My mask was fit and sealed and I got'a tell you,
I love EPR. It is comfortable.
I'm on straight cpap now w/EPR on 1.

It's taken almost 16mths, but I feel like a millon bucks this am.
Life is good.
Thanks! cpaptalk family.....I couldn't have done it without you.

Awesome, Carbonman! That kind of night is the goal everyone shoots for! 16 months, huh? Well...I'm catching up with you! Only 11 more months to go! Congrats on your continued successes! I still say your attitude about the whole thing is 99% of it!

CM Why do you want to feel green and wrinkly?

Excellent Carbonman! I had a similar night last night. Woke up 2-3 times but fell back asleep and had at least three vivid dreams I can remember. My AI was 0.6, which is a bit higher than usual, but I think had more restorative sleep (more REM?). Feel pretty darn good today!
Sleep well and live better!

Carbonman, what jumped out at me is that you are living your quote in your signature line...

"If your therapy is improving your health but you're not doing anything
to see or feel those changes, you'll never know what you're capable of.
-I said that."

It's been many months we've been hearing and seeing pictures of your bike rides. You didn't wait till you felt like a million bucks to start enjoying the improvement in well being. I'm challenged to stop waiting till I feel good, and just go forward with feeling better.

Kathy

Your post and tagline have inspired me to get back out there and start walking again. Earlier this year a friend and I were up to almost 3 miles on our lunch hour. Back then when I took health for granted, I saw it as a chore. Now being able to do it again will be a joy! We're due a snowstorm tomorrow so I may have to wait one more day but hopefully the weather report is wrong! Bike on Carbonman, Bike on!
