My hubby was willing to do the sleep study but was refusing to go along with cpap. He said he lived long enough. I thought about what I could say to convince him and it was this, "If you don't do this I'll wake up one morning to find you dead and you will leave me with the terrible guilt of not having been able to save you. Is that what you want your last act on earth to be?" It was pretty dramatic but after a few hours alone all he said was "I'll do it" and he's been my hero ever since.
