I'm a bit dissapointed in the reports provided by the resmed software.
Had hoped to be able to see a graph or timeline of when apneas occurred, when the S8 Autoset went into over drive kicking up the pressure to from 8 to 20. Instead there is a bar chart that shows median, 95th percentile, and maximum. What does it mean? Is it the time the pressure was at maximum? time that it was at 95th percentile? 95th percentile of what.
Is there a way to get the detailed graph?
I suppose that for apneas & AHI the smaller the bar the better it is.
thanks for any info that can be provided?

Hi Windsurfer,
Yes, there are graphs available, along with timelines. I'm not on my home computer, so I can't give you specific instructions, but they are there. There is a place to click for detailed information, and that leads to the graphs.
There is a help available in the top menus across the top, just like in most other programs.
I'm sure someone can help you more specifically, or I can help further this evening.
But rest assured, they are there!

You have to download the detailed data - it doens't happen by default. The default only downloads summary.
After you download the datat, you can see the charts you're loogkin for in the "details" tab.

Re: resmed software - charts what does it mean
Thanks for the info ya'll.
was able to go back and download detailed data. Its very interesting to see it on a graph.
was only able to get detailed data for the last 4 days out of 9.
Now I'm gonna want an O2 meter on the finger.
Cant tell whether these apneas are real or resulting from the nasal pillows closing off. Thats getting better now that I'm using the larger nasal pillow.
So much for heated water though. That just puts water up the nose and makes the tube gurgle thus waking me up.

The card will only download detailed info for the past 4 days; you have to copy from your machine to the card at least every 4 days if you want detailed info for every day. You can then save it to your pc.
