The comfort care pads didn't work for me. The long sides would not allow my mask to seal, when I cut it down and used it just on the bridege of my nose my nose still got red and pimpley. I have thin skin prone to acne so this mineraloil based product wasn't the way to go for me. I finally cut a piece off and placed it inside my quattro- taped it up on the hard plastic that I figured was causing my pressure/swelling problems. Still no luck. I also found it made my mask hard to clean. And it looks like such a good idea.....

Re: Protection of Bridge of Nose - New Product
I was pleased to find this site. The doctors and my CPAP supplier made me think I was unique in complaining about sores on the bridge of the nose. I use band aids, gauze pads, etc. anything I can think of to try to protect myself. We CPAP users shouldn't have to put up with this. Not only do I have a sore nose but I now have bags under my eyes and my skin is becoming like crumpled paper. All this for a good nights sleep. Something is wrong somewhere! I will try the gel pad, hope it works.
