Occasional scratches on my forehead

Post by jeffoo » Mon Oct 19, 2009 11:10 pm

Hello,

I've been using one the FlexFit CPAP masks for almost 5 years. Every once in a while I rip the mask off in my sleep and I end up with a HUGE scrape on my forehead. The mask is comfortable but I am wondering if there is a mask out there that will do less damage or has fewer sharp edges.

It's extremely embarrassing going to work with a 3-4" scrape on my forehead.

Has anyone experienced this with the FlexFit? Its the only mask I have ever used and I am wondering if there is something better out there for me?

Go to http://www.padacheek.com and look at the forehead pads. Then contact them to let them know which mask you use. Finding a mask that you find comfortable isn't easy. You say the mask is comfortable for you, so just fix the sharp edges with a forehead pad.
