Re: Something that might work for nose rubs
So, did anyone try it last night??? I didn't get a chance yesterday to try to find it.

Re: Something that might work for nose rubs
Just came back from CVS with the Friction Block. I'm going to try it, but on my chin for Fit Life mask possibly this afternoon (if I have time for a nap), or tonight.

Re: Something that might work for nose rubs
I did. I have to say the skin on the bridge of my nose (between the eyes) is not rough like it is when I use the mask alone. I'm having other issues with my nose and this mask, but the Friction Block really seems to work (based on one night, anyway).millich wrote:So, did anyone try it last night???
Veni, vidi, Velcro. I came, I saw, I stuck around.

I used it last night. Although my nose was a little pink this morning, it wasn't sore at all! Yeah!!!

Yeah I took a nap, but woke up with the hose off of my mask. That never happens, go figure....GaryG wrote:Just came back from CVS with the Friction Block. I'm going to try it, but on my chin for Fit Life mask possibly this afternoon (if I have time for a nap), or tonight.

Re: Something that might work for nose rubs
Has anyone tried this under their mouth tape on skin which has become sensitive or reddened above or below the lips? I may try it tonight, and will report back. Haven't even opened the package yet, so am not sure if it will prevent the tape from sealing.

Re: Something that might work for nose rubs
Had high leakage last night, so my therapy wasn't great, but the friction block seemed to reduce redness.

Tightened the masks, reduced leakage (0.04 L/sec), but marks came back. Friction product didn't help me. Hope it helps others.

Re: Something that might work for nose rubs
Doesn't look like it's working for me. I started out with a healing nose - i'd used an older mask for several days - and went back to the new mask with Friction Block. My nose bridge is bright red after 3 days. ::sigh::
