I believe this has been covered in other threads (which is how I found out about this phenomenon).
I've been having major problems with leaks on my last couple of LT masks. After consulting this board, I found the culprit: the flimsy new pillows RedMed is now using.
But last night I found the original pillows from the first Swift LT mask I got from my DME about a year ago. And guess what -- no leaks! I compared the results with my log from months ago when I first got the mask and saw a string of zeros. Now I know why.
I feel so much better rested this morning than I have in months -- and now I know why. Good thing I kept my old mask. (But I'm afraid that even those pillows will eventually wear out.)
Any way I can get my hands on some of the original pillows?
Any chance that ResMed will see the error of their ways and return to the original formula?
It's too bad, because otherwise the LT is the most comfortable mask I've owned.
"New" Swift LT Pillows & Leaks
Re: "New" Swift LT Pillows & Leaks
Hi,
Someone else tipped me off to Lansinoh, and that seems to do the trick for me. I have been coping very well with the newer "defective" pillows since learning about this trick.
