how to reset a Respironics Remstar Auto M series

My CPAP displays data for AHI/usage in averages of 7/30 days. Is there a way I could reset the old data so that it starts averaging the data from zero. I can access the clinician's menu but cannot find the option for data reset. This machine is on loan and therefore I wanted to reset the data and start from zero days.

Try this.

If you want to see your daily (or nightly) data on an M Series machine, you need to reset it every day. To do so, unplug the power supply from the back of the machine. Hold down the right and left arrow keys while you plug the power back in and wait to hear two quick beeps; then release. Now push the > button to get to the Therapy data screen. Hold down the minus key for a few seconds, until the data resets to 0. Push the On/Off button to exit the menu.

There is an option in the Info section (lower left square) to reset the hours but you have to access it from the clinical menu setup.

Do the steps above to get to clinical setup menu...then turn knob to "Info" then scroll through the menu till you see reset data and then hold down the same buttons you did to get into the clinical set up for about 10 seconds...wait for the beep.

Now this also resets any hours of use, compliance use....everything except total machine hours which can't be changed
