Respironics PR System One

Post by Tennessee Cattleman » Sat Oct 03, 2009 7:32 am

I have been looking at the new Respironics PR One System's. According to the the info on cpap dot com the only difference I can see between the Pro & the Plus is that the Pro has C-Flex+ instead of the regular C-Flex. Both are listed as data capable. Does anyone have any info of this being correct or incorrect?

Respironics has NEVER made a "Plus" machine with data-capability......only "compliance" (hours slept). The Pro model is the minimum machine you would need in order to obtain real sleep data.

Den
(5) REMstar Autos w/C-Flex & (6) REMstar Pro 2 CPAPs w/C-Flex - Pressure Setting = 14 cm.
"Passover" Humidification - ResMed Ultra Mirage FF - Encore Pro w/Card Reader & MyEncore software - Chiroflow pillow

If it is the PR machines you are asking about, as you stated, there is NO SOFTWARE available for the PR machines yet. It may be available to DMEs and doctors but not to patients. No one knows if there will be software for patient use.

In the M Series, the Plus give just compliance data ( how often and how long you use it). The Pro and the Auto give full data. There is software for the Pro and the Auto in the M Series available for patients.
