noise in new cpap

Post by swtsassy65 » Fri Sep 09, 2005 8:55 pm

My dk put me on resmed auto spirt today and I am hearing the weirdest nosie out of the hose when I breathe. Is this normal?? Could it be because of the ramp?? Any ideas let me know.
Thanks

Oh it is a noise that goes down the hose. Not from a leak almost sounds like a long plastic horn

I am really guessing here but I am guessing it's an obstruction in the hose, try reversing the hose and see if it still makes the noise.

Good luck!

What a good guess, RnR! I'd have never thought of something like that. Cool.

Damn, good job R&R. Sure wish my hose just had an obstruction! Then I would be in 420e heaven.

Hope the obstruction wasn't one of those bugs that seem to be showing up in hoses lately.....
