Throat spasms

Post by raggedykat » Fri Sep 25, 2009 12:28 pm

I am having what I can only describe as muscle spasms in the back of my throat. I can actually feel my throat opening. This is very strange.

Don't you think you should ask your MD about it?

It just started a few hours ago. The same sensation you get when you swallow air. Maybe my muscles are getting a workout from the cpap therapy.

if you just started using a CPAP its more likely to be from stress caused by the CPAP use, get doc to check your throat

I just got back from shopping and it happened a couple of times in the store. Feels just like I turned on my machine and I had to took a big gulp of air. I will call my doctor but I am sure that I will get the same ole' answer, "I never heard of such a thing, can't be from the cpap".
