Portable Solar Power for Your CPAP Machines

I think that is a great idea.

There are a lot of "elder hostel" and such programs out there you might want to contact.
For me, at 60+, sleeping on the ground after paddling all day is not going to fly, however for many people the first howl is "I will never be able to go hiking/camping with the kids/grandkids again!"

The other thing I was looking at were Native guided wilderness tours up in the Yukon - One didn't have to paddle and there were cabins but no electricity for 2 weeks.

I live in south Florida. If I were able to rent one on short notice for a post-hurricane crisis period, I'd be all in favor of it. Depending on the cost, of course.

This 260 Watt Hour Battery has been specifically designed by us to be Solar Rechargeable, you can not plug in a solar panel to any of the other CPAP batteries because it will just show a flashing red error message and will not charge.

Portable solar power system is effective if there is plenty of sunshine available.. I have been using it for some and got really good rewards.

I think the general idea of solar power back up is a great idea. I am thinking of having it for my house at some time in the future. I still have some remaining restoration projects.

I think having a solar back up would be valuable in a natural disaster when the power went out. In Texas we sometimes have storms and it takes days to get the power up. On the coast after hurricanes it can take over a week.

What is especially concerning in this situation is that you would be sleep deprived while trying to cope with a natural disaster. You have to deal with an emergency situation but your brain is fogging up.

The price is too high for me. My care has a portable battery that is not solar rechargeable, but it will have to do.

Great idea, except I usually sleep at night.

I looked at this system.... and decided if I was going solar, which I hope to do, I would do whole house.

The problem with renting for a storm is that you have to guess when a storm will hit, and for how long.

We ended up with a whole house generator.

Expensive, but it works well.

THe powerenz system would be grate if you were going to do something other than RV or car camping.
