Hi--I am in Arizona where it is a DRY heat! LOL! I love love love this cream! You can use it on your face or your feet--anywhere that is dry. It is called VANICREAM. You can get Vanicream at Target--it is over by the Pharmacy because they also use it to compound prescription creams with it etc. There is also a Vanicream Lite that I use on my face---melts right in. The Vanicream in the tub with the pumper is thicker but rubs right in and will not make your hands and feet feel greasy. It is very soothing for your dry skin. It is the best thing since Swift LT for her!!! The Vanicream is fragrance free and free of wax or any of the crap that is in other lotions/creams. Try it and you will never use anything else!!!

Re: Need help from the ladies!!
katiemo- my insurance provides replacement seals monthly, so it hasn't involved extra costs for me. If I had to get them out of pocket, I may have to find something to replace my beloved Cetaphil. As you know, rosacea can be downright painful, and finding what works without further irritating it is a challenge.katiemo wrote:AAHA!!! This is what I was wanting to hear!! I hate giving up the Cetaphil as it has done wonders for the rosacea, but it seems if I want to use it I have to fork over the bucks for the seals, not sure I can do that.
Hope you find what works for you.
Best wishes for sound sleep and soft happy skin,
Kim

I also have rosacea. At night I use the topical medications that my dermatologist prescribes. And I also use either Olay Complete all day moisture for SENSITIVE skin. My dermatologist recommended this moisturizer. But, be careful to get the sensitive skin version...there is an Olay Complete (regular).
I also have used CeraVe lotion. Both the Olay and the CeraVe work for me with my nasal mask. I do not moisturize my nose, but do use moisturizer on the rest of my face. I have no leaks, no mask movement,no problems, and no dry skin.
Hope some of this information is helpful for someone.
Sweet dreams,

Me too. And I drink lottsa water during the day. I somehow don't think it's related.teresamichele wrote:I have a related question, actually, even if my face isn't dry.
During the winter my hands get so dry they crack and bleed. I try to up the water but it doesn't seem to help a whole lot.
I've tried a few lotions, but can anyone recommend one that's super effective?
I also find that Eucerin original moisturizing cream has been really helpful. Better than others I've tried, including pure shea butter.

I have a question. I am 31 years old and suffer from OSA. I've had my CPAP for 1 years now. Starting my CPAP treatment actually tiggeren Rosacea.... So currently I am using Finacea as treatment. My question is: I don't suppose inhaling Finacea vapors is quite healthy, and I have to put it og morning and evening. When should the finacea be applied before putting on the cpap? How many hours should pass before using cpap?????
Thanx in advance.

Using a mask liner like pad a cheek should help prevent your medicine from touching a cushion type mask.Guest wrote:I have a question. I am 31 years old and suffer from OSA. While I am not familiar with the Finacea medication, I suggest that you apply the medication and time how long it takes for it to either dry on your face or to stop emitting vapors. From that, you can determine how long to wait between Finacea application and putting on your cpap mask. Using mask liners would probably help protect the silicone in your cpap mask from deterioration due exposure to the medication. However, if there is medication on your skin that is covered by the mask, you'll still probably be exposed to the vapors unless the medication has dried. I'd advise reading the prescription information carefully regarding application. Good luck!chunkyfrog wrote:Guest wrote:I have a question. I am 31 years old and suffer from OSA.
