I know exactly how you feel about shelling out $100 on something that isn't a sure bet. I have a drawer full of masks that I have bought and given extensive periods of trial. The best mask for me, and the one I have been most pleased with, and used quite happily for the last 6 months is one that I pulled out of that drawer in desperation to try again. It's the ResMed Liberty hybrid. I have used the Swift; it's my 3rd favorite after the Liberty and the Quattro. The Liberty has a cushion for the mouth and pillows for the nose. You will probably find some getting used to pillows—sores at the nostrils, but they go away after a week or less. If you are like most of us, you will have to go through several masks before you find the right fit for you. Very few people get the right one the first time. Sorry to disappoint.
As was mentioned before, the nasal pillows masks come with the different sizes. Same with the Liberty. Good luck to you.
