I really like the hybrid, for a lot of reasons. The only real problem I have with mine is the strap system pulls on the mask at angles. This is a mechanically inefficient way to hold the mask against the face, so it tends to leak at higher pressures (and as the face seal ages). I am thinking of making my own headgear that pulls straight on the mask, but allows each of the attachment points to be adjustable, kind of like the new Fulllife mask (which I would like to try). The nasal pillows could be slightly longer, like Muse-inc suggests, but they seal quite reliably for me. Even with these minor faults, I think this is a good mask choice for people who need higher pressures.

I don't know about in the States, but the cost for both the Ultra Mirage FFM and Quattro are exactly the same.

The Quattro's forehead 'dial' is less likely to break than the Ultra Mirage's little teeth, and the cushion is easier to remove and replace than the Ultra Mirage's. That's why we push them.

That said, fit and comfort is always most important and we carry both because they do fit differently.
