Being new to this forum does anyone have any comments on the ResMed S8? I'm being told this is a good unit.

To answer your question OP. I have the S8 elite II and I have had no problems with it. (okay, I had a problem initially but got a replacement unit and have had no problems since)

"S8" is the name of ResMed's current models; there are multiple models, each has a name for example Escape, Elite, AutoSet and they are currently offering Series II of their models. Which machine are you asking about? ResMed is one of the top 3 manufacturers.
ResMed S9 range 9.8-17, RespCare Hybrid FFM
