There is no GMT offset in my therapy menu also. I think it might appear on the Auto machines, but not the straight CPAP machines. Only thing I can think of. I'm hoping the software will make that adjustment. Right now the graphs just look like I have very strange sleeping patterns. Still, the basic information is there.

Scarlet834 don't worry, I saw the same thing on mine. Until you change the setup everything will comeback normal.

Mine is straight c-pap (PR System One Pro) and it has the GMT offset in the clinitions menu...

Several of you mentioned knowing how to get to the "secret" menu...how do you do it? I was able to set the pressures and other items on previous machines but have not found out how to get this one changed. HELP!!! Please tell me.

I "do" like this PR SystemOne BPAP Auto w/Bi-Flex - but - I'll be darned if I can turn the LCD screen backlight on!

My SetUp Screen appears as follows

Back
Mode
Max IPAP
Min EPAP
Max Periodic Breathing
IPAP
EPAP
Flex
Bi-Flex
Rise Time
Bi-Flex lock
Rise Time lock
S1 Resistance
Lock S1
Ramp Time
Ramp Start
Humidifier
Auto On
Auto Off
Mask Alert
Humidifier LED backlight (this offers blacklight but works for the humidifier buttons only)
Show AHI/leak/PB
Split Night
GMT offset
Back

Any idea what I am doing wrong at the Humidifier LED backlight option or is my PR S1 "defective" for this option? I notice I'm not the only one who has had this problem but I've not seen a solution offered. Maybe I missed it?

My PR one apap only lights up the buttons too. As well, I only had one look at this gmt setting, and then it never came back. Maybe you only get one kick at the cat.

I can confirm that there is no option to backlight the screen. The LED backlight the options refer to are the humidifier controls only. (on all night, or only on for a few minutes)

I don't understand. PR goes to all the research, time, trouble and expense to develop a GREAT device that provides GREAT therapy and then shoot themselves in the foot by providing an LED screen you can't see to read w/o a flashlight. Duh!

Hopefully in the later models they will rectify this boo-boo.

It may be an over-reaction to previous very loud complaints about the extremely bright blue buttons of the M-Series machines. You have to cover the buttons with a sock or a bar towel if you want to get any decent sleep because the buttons happen to be so bright they keep people up at night. It was trendy to put blue lights on anything new. They may have run out of development time and decided to truncate the capabilities not to include backlit humidifier settings rather than delay the process, causing the FDA approval time to go through another three-to-six-month approval window. I get the impression their designers/engineers don't actually use their machines to get a feel for what their users go through. I wonder if it's just a design schedule meted out from on-high.

I doubt it. Complaints about the poor/hard-to-read LCD display also have been common.

I suspect that the decision not to light the display is closely related to the decision not to provide meaningful information on it. And for this reason, it's doubtful that there will be an update to the System One series that will rectify this.
I'm workin' on it.

after machine is powered up:

1. Highlight the "SETUP" option on screen.
2. Once you have "SETUP" highlighted, press BOTH the control wheel and the Ramp buttons and hold for at least 5 seconds (you should get a quick "double beep")
3. this will get you the "Provider Mode Screen" with four choices:
EXIT, REMINDER, INFO, & SETUP.
4. Highlight SETUP, select it and the choices available will appear.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Dave

I just ordered the Encore Viewer from cpap.com, which is supposed to work with System One now. It apparently won't save data, but maybe I can use it to figure out the file format...

With Encore Viewer you CAN save data in PDF form in your Documents.

It's very easy. When the report comes up after you upload the data from the card, you click on "save" and save it to a file in your Documents. I named the file "Encore Viewer" and, when the report comes up in that file in my Documents, I rename it to the date(s).

I have a lot of reports from when I first got the software in March I think it was.
