Actually, I don't agree. If you have enough ventilation, as I mentioned, which includes making sure the air intake on the machine isn't covered by the cooler, you still get plenty of fresh air with a reduction in noise. The cooler (or whatever) has to be a lot larger than the machine, and holes are cut out for the air intake, the hose, and electrical cord. (It also covers up the dreaded blue lights on the M-series that bother a lot of people.) I've read on here of folks putting their machine in a drawer in the nightstand, and one person routed their machine to an adjacent room!Julie wrote:I think it should be pointed out that putting a cooler (or anything else) over the machine is a really bad idea. Some people can sleep with a bulldozer next to the bed and others can't sleep with the smallest of sounds. If it's bothering you at first, maybe taking some steps to quiet it will help as you're trying to get used to everything else.
