In the 2+ years I've been on the hose, I've had one night with less than 4 hours utilization and that was due to a power outage (a condition that has been fixed!!!).
So statistically I'm at 100%....The real number is probably 99.99999999999999% or some such, but what's a billionth amongst friends???

cheers

At the ripe old age of 33 the lady in human resources told me I had sleep apnea. My response was "What the hell is that?" I went to my sleep study and based on how I felt pestered the DME people until I received my Cpap and have not slept a moment without it since. That was 20 years ago and I thank my maker that I was diagnosed and received therapy so that I could live longer.

So did you get to marry the human resources lady?

Lucky you, many of us had to live with it unknowingly for a longer period of time while it slowly shortened our lives ... but we are still luckier than those who never get diagnosed or treated properly.

She was my ex wifes best friend and yes I was lucky to be diagnosed early, BUT back then no one knew about sleep apnea and the testing was not in a sleep lab, but in an obscure wing of a mental institution. And then the machine I was given actually did sound like a 747 jet engine, The mask had no chance of not leaking and after the initial DME visit there was no followup to find out if I was doing OK. Heck there wasn't even an internet to socialize with others in the same situation. There was some mention of a support group but I thought I was better than that and could survive on my own. What a mistake as I missed out on all of the advancements until recently when I found this site.

All of the above is me.....

I did manage to get a sleep study though and a noisy cpap without a humidifier. The next year I got a new machine cause mine broke and it had a humidifier... the year after I got a heated humidifier .... whoo hoo . Then in 1993 I a c flex and have been there ever since... No follow up visits anywhere, no doc making sure I am alright. all I got once was, you sleeping ok?? I said sure and thought that was all there was until I found this site about a week ago......

My eyes have truly been opened here and am eagerly awaiting to try a new machine ,they all sound so great........

Oh Yeah, I been on cpap for 11 years.
