Okay, here's a tentative solution I just experimented with using my first mask, a ComfortGel nasal:
Lay down a bandaid or some transpore/micropore tape over the bridge.
Lay down one of the clear Breathe Right strips vertically on the nose so that one end is at the middle and the other end lays on your forehead.
Cover with liberal amounts of micropore tape.
This displaced a significant amount of the pressure on the bridge while maintaining a solid seal. I'm gonna give a go tonight and report back.
Protecting the bridge!
Re: Protecting the bridge!
Karen responded to my message with a nice note, so I ordered her nose bridge pad. Will be trying micropore tape tonight and if all goes well, I'll officially change my mask over from Swift LT to Activa LT.GaryG wrote:Brenda, I PM'd Padacheek to ask if it would help with Activa LT. Thanks.bdp522 wrote:Go to http://www.padacheek.com there is a nose bridge pad that will help. You can also PM Padacheek as she is a forum member. She will be sure to help all she can!

Seem like overkill, but whatever works. I use a small/square band-aid where my ComfortGel nasal hits my nose. Works well enough.mdintx wrote:Okay, here's a tentative solution I just experimented with using my first mask, a ComfortGel nasal:

It may seem like overkill but even with all of that, I still woke up with redness on the bridge. It's just now beginning to subside.cajun wrote:Seem like overkill, but whatever works. Re: Protecting the bridge!
I tried moleskin with little luck but that works for some. I tried millipore tape on bridge of nose and this appears to help a bit. Everyone has their own bridge, so I guess different things work for different people. Keep trying.

Re: Protecting the bridge!
My sleep doc told me I have a bridge with a lot of "altitude". I guess that means that it's big...GaryG wrote:I tried moleskin with little luck but that works for some.
