POLL: BP Rise Following Night of Higher AHI?

Post by Muse-Inc » Wed Jul 29, 2009 9:01 pm

I'm curious again. Seems to me that my systolic only rises following a night with events that wake me up...this not having a data-capable machine is so frustrating! I need a recording oximeter too to really nail this down or abandon this theory. Given apnea causes hypertension, I thought I'd ask those who might have tracked this sort of data.

My systolic increase is greater than the diastolic increase, but both will increase. The Systolic increase may be significant increase while the diastolic might be only 5 to 10 points.
