No difference, I have always had an excellent sense of smell--and I still do.
I get to clean out the fridge--lucky me!

I have been using my CPAP for about 5 months now. I have had a diminished sense of smell for many years due to sinus problems but since being on the machine I have lost it completely and my sense of taste is very diminished now. I will stay on the machine because of all the benefits from it but really miss being able to smell things.

Ditto for me - I can smell and taste more acutely than before CPAP.

Well if that is true, I guess I liked the way things smelled before or perhaps I was used to it. Otherwise, life stinks.

I totally lost my sense of taste for a couple months, but not my sense of smell. I could eat anything and it all tasted the same. I started honing in on textures, then it slowly came back over the next six months. I don't think this was CPAP-related. I'd been on CPAP for a couple years.
