I have been trying this new mask for about a week. I don't care for the head gear and I have been experimenting with using it in another fashion but it hasn't hurt my head and I try to sleep on my side as much as I can.
Where is it causing pain? I haven't found anything about it to be painful at all. My only issue with the head gear that comes with it is that I find it is PITA to adjust. I am going to try attaching it to a chin strap like Babette suggested and completely do away with all the other head gear.

Babette uses this mask and loves it. She is the person to maybe get ideas from. Check out this thread for her link to her ideas.

I tried this mask a few years ago and absolutely could no wear it! The tubing pressed a nerve in my face/head and I could not adjust it to solve the problem. I gave up on it.

I have the Snapp and use it sometimes. It's a very comfortable (for me) nasal prongs mask. The headgear is similar to lots of other masks and I find it very comfortable.

It is not a popular mask but I like it. I get a good sleep and a good leak rate with it.

Others don't seem to have problems with the Nasal Aire 11 but for those who do and still would like to use a nasal prongs mask, the Snapp has been a good one for me.
