Just ordered my goodies...

I was diagnosed with central apnea about 1-week ago. Received the prescription and searched for the right ST machine. Just placed the order a few minutes ago for the machine, humidifier, software and 2 different masks... and as luck would have it, the machine is on back-order, then about a 2-week wait for delivery overseas (I live in Dubai).

Anyway, its Saturday and 3:00 in the afternoon and I am exhausted. I'll crawl over the couch for a nap even though I know it won't do much good.

I'll be checking off the days on my calendar waiting for that marvelous night's sleep that you all enjoy. Wish me luck.

I hope the time passes quickly for you and we'll be glad to hear from you when you do get hooked up!

It might be a good idea to sleep in a recliner or have the head of your bed raised while you are waiting.

Enjoy your last days of machine-free life.

Toss your head without being whacked by a hose. Travel lighter without having to lug the machine everywhere. Wake without pain/bruise at the base of your nose and marks on your face and crazy hair. Kiss and hug your sleeping partner before being permanently separated.

The machine does not stop apnea episodes; just blasts air at you when you do stop breathing. That may wake you as often as you have episodes (45 times an hour for me).

This is a life sentence. Enjoy your last days of freedom...

OZZZZZ - I'm beginning to think that you're a troll... if you have a problem, start your own post and say that you have a problem. Don't keep shovelling your negativity on everybody that's trying to deal with their own problems in constructive ways. You'll find that you'll probably get some helpful responses if you ask for them.

Just a brief update on my order...

My goodies shipped the 13th... can't wait. According to UPS, here is the journey thus far...

Stafford, TX to Houston
Houston to Louisville
Louisville to Philly

Left Philly at 9:09am... I am assuming its headed across the pond to their hub in Europe, then down to the Middle East.

With any amount of luck I should have it all next week.
