Just noticed something on CPAP Clinical menu

Post by grumpygirl » Wed Jun 24, 2009 6:53 pm

I just noticed recently that on my ResMed Autoset II when I use the EPR setting it indicates a setting labeled INHALE and you can either set it to MED or HIGH. I just set it at MED but wondered what the real difference was in these two settings. Is MED okay?? Thanks- Grumpygirl

The EPR INHALE setting, which is only available in CPAP mode, controls the rate at which pressure returns to therapy pressure during inhalation.

If you PM me with your email address, I can send you the Clinical Guide for the Autoset II.
