Sleep Latency: 41 minutes
REM Latency: 70 Minutes
Total Sleep Time: 247 minutes
Total REM Time: 38 minutes
Min. Oxy Sat Rec: 94%
Sleep effcicency was 78%, There was no stage IV sleep recorded, and very limited stage III. 1 obstructive apnea and 6 hypopneas scattered throughout the study. Minimal REM dependency noted. Overall RDI was 2. The REM RDI 5.

Since nobody else has answered you, I'll give it a try.
Total study period = amount of time you were studied
Sleep Latency = amount of time it took you to fall asleep
REM Latency = amount of time it took you to enter REM sleep (dreaming)
Total Sleep Time = the total amount of time you slept during the study
Total REM Time = the total amount of time you were in your REM cycle.
Min. Oxy Sat Rec = I believe this is the absolute lowest level of oxygen recorded in your blood. You want to be as close to 100% as you can. Somebody else might be able to define this better.
Sleep Efficience = I have no idea what this is.
Janelle could explain Stage 3 & 4 better than I but basically, you won't feel well rested unless you achieve sleep in stages 3 & 4. Some people never get to 3 & 4....I believe it's more common in people with OSA to not achieve 3 & 4. Apnea = absence of breathing..you had 1 in an hour.
Hypopneas= click on the Cpapopedia icon above for a good explanation. I think you can also get explanations of RDI (respiratory disturbance????).
I know that's not alot of help but it's a start.
