When I got a new M series two days ago, to replace my failed 1 year old machine, the label on the back shows Ver 3, date 2008/06. The previous one was Ver 2, date 2008/03.
Unfortunately I never wrote down what the software version of the old machine was. When you go into the doctor setup mode, the software version is displayed for about 2 seconds or so, Ver 5.5.2. Surprisingly this version is not documented in their daily detailed report !
What are the sw versions that people here see for their machines?

Mine is a bit older but it is version 4.01. I think 4.01 was around for a while. Glad to know they updated it, now if it fixed the lost data problem maybe they really did something!!!

Jerry, my guess is that the sw is exactly the same, even though the two hardware boxes 3 months apart are two different versions. That curiosity was the reason for checking the sw version of somebody who has the pre 2008/03 made version.6PtStar wrote:Mine is a bit older but it is version 4.01. It may be my imagination, but I think the new one is even quieter than the previous one. It is possible, on the other hand, after a year's use the older one gets a little more noisy. Even then it was quite quiet; if I had the mask plugged so that the only air flow was the normal intended leak, I could hardly hear the machine at 4cm pressure, while standing up in the room (the machine is just below the bed level).
