SWS, I think you're onto it here.
I was Rx a Mseries/plus w/cflex from this ctr.

Here are three of the example sheets that were handed out.

In this forum, the H20 is understood

Highly esoteric C-Flex sure would get a lot more advertising bang for the buck that way, versus roadside billboards. Entirely plausible IMO.

LinkC, gotta be careful with that overly accurate terminology... I'm pretty sure shooting columns of water out our CPAP machines will void the warranty. It's bound to warp the nightstand as well.

Oh, I've got such a headache from poly's rant! Please don't answer even in lower case, because this question is for SWS...What is breath stacking? Thanks.

Breath stacking is breathing in, then not fully breathing out before that very next breath. That can easily happen multiple breaths in a row, DoriC.

Ideally we expire an amount of air equivalent to the volume we just inspired.

E.E. Cummings would not have appreciated all those capital letters either...

Looking at the responses, many of us also understood the term "C-flex pressure". Technically, neither is correct...although understood.

But if one criticizes another for abbreviating terms, shouldn't they hold themselves to the same standard?

When you think about it, if any variety of relief is turned on, the term "CPAP" is no longer accurate because the pressure is no longer "constant". So, if you want to split hairs, "C-flex pressure" is the more correct term in that case, meaning "a baseline pressure of XX cm-H20, as modified by C-flex".

PS - For the record, I was just jerkin' carbon's chain...and he understood that...

Oh yeah...! The way you spelled that guy's name (the founder of Cummings Diesel?) sure reminds me of that one poet who constantly forgot to capitalize much of what he wrote!

Wish I could remember his name. good poet but apparently very forgetful as well...
