I have a class II maloclusion and likely had a sleep and breathing disorder since birth.
I've been on CPAP through the VA since my UPPP about 15 years ago.
Post sleep studies showed mild to moderate OSA. But I still felt fatigued.
I just got a new machine with the smart card and am perusing the reports from the encore viewer.
It shows a lot of snore (VS) but a low Obstructive Apnea (OA) .5 to 1.5.
I have no non-responsive (NR) apneas.
Is this an accurate base AHI score, similar to what I would get with a polysomogram, or is this a treated OA score?
I'm woried the VA will take my CPAP away. And, sleeping would be difficult without it.
Thanks.
ZZZZZzzzzzzz.........

Re: OA score on encore viewer report
AHI results indicating treated OSA. It is a treatment, not a cure. If you had a sleep study without it the results would point back to whatever it was like before treatment began.
