New tweak to the Deluxe Chinstrap

Hey, just sharing this. I was having a fit with my Deluxe Chinstrap one night a week ago, because I'd placed the back strap smack over my ears, and it was pinching a bit.

I had a new chinstrap I'd just gotten, and suddenly I got a great idea. I put the back strap farther up my head, higher than my ears. Alone, this will slip on my head and not hold well.

BUT, I have a surplus of little white "front" straps that I never use with this chinstrap. I took two of them, and criss cross them, running from the back strap to either side of the chinstrap, way below my ears.

I also loosened the top of the chinstrap to it's farthest open point.

It's been SUPER comfortable since I did that, and no more ear pinching!

Oh, and before you ask.....

1) No, I don't find it hot, and it does not aggravate my sensitive acne-prone skin.

2) I like that it curves around my chin and forces my lips shut. I feel it's doing a better job that way.

3) I don't like the feel of the forehead strap, so I don't use it. It stays in place fine with just the backstrap, but unfortunately, with all my hair, I have to position the backstrap right over my ears. It pinches slightly. Not enough to make me stop using it, just enough to be annoying occasionally. Which is why I came up with this criss-cross mod.

4) The fact that the chinstrap covers my ears does not stop me from hearing the bathroom faucet drip, the neighbors next door fight, nor the fridge in the kitchen kick on. In other words - you WILL hear your kid crying for Mommy.
