A Flex Adjustment & Pressure Changes

Post by DNAClone » Tue May 26, 2009 1:56 pm

Hi,
I have finally seemed to control the leaks, increase sleep time and reduce AHI.
One of the adjustments I made was to increase the A Flex from 1 to 3.
The Encore Viewer data shows an increase in 90% pressure even with the normal leak rate for my mask.

I have been using a pressure range of 12.5 - 17 cm H20 with an initial titration of 13.
The 90% pressure has increased by 1.5 with these adjustments.

Do you think the A Flex change from 1-3 could attribute to the increased pressure requirements?
BTW, I like the comfort of the A Flex at 3 and feel great in the morning.

Yes, the higher setting of A-Flex could make your 90% pressure higher but, if you like the comfort of A-Flex at 3 and you feel great in the morning, I would say, great!

I'd keep it as you have it if I were you! Can't beat comfortable sleeping and feeling great in the morning! That's what we all want!
