Post by forumadmin » Wed Aug 17, 2005 1:28 pm

Introducing BillMyInsurance.com!

BillMyInsurance.com vends high end CPAP, APAP and BiPAP Equipment to patients wishing to use Private Insurance as their primary payment method. The website offers consumers an alternative to "cash only" online CPAP websites.

Patients choose the CPAP products. We collect documents, ship the products and bill the insurance claim.

For an estimated copay based on the equipment you would like to get, call toll free at 1-800-266-1575.

If you would like to fill out a form and be emailed back with your estimated copay, please visit:

Howdy,

We take almost all major insurance plans, including "BCBS". Its a good idea to have us estimate your copay no matter what plan you are on, because we'll return to you with your best option, either through us or through cash.

As for how it works, this is from our main page:

What You Receive

Premium CPAP equipment you select, delivered to your door, covered by your insurance.

What You Do

* Complete and submit "Copay Estimate Form"
* Receive and evaluate our "Copay Quote"
* Give final approval for CPAP equipment shipment
* Pay Copay
* Receive CPAP Equipment

What We Do

* Verify Insurance
* Prepare and email "Copay Quote"
* Collect Prescription and Sleep Study
* Ship CPAP Equipment when you approve
* Bill Insurance
* Provide Free Phone and Email Support

If you would like a free copay estimate, please complete and submit this form:

Or just call BillMyInsurance.com Toll Free: 1-800-266-1575

Thanks for your interest!

Johnny

Johnny,

I have Blue Grass Family Health as a secondary insurance. They stated to me that they would NOT pay for any equipment or supplies that are purchased online. Will you be billing in a way as to not distinguish that this is any online purchase?
I would really like to purchase from you more than I do but need to use my insurance.

Gilda

Over the past 5 months I bought, on my own, a bunch of expensive equipment from CPAP.com. I have insurance and would like to know if I have any chance of some reimbursement from my insurance companies if I use your service?

Howdy,

mommaw:

Each insurance is different and inside that each individuals policy can be different. I'm sorry that I can't give you a better answer personally, but we have setup a system that can. For a definitive answer to this question, please give BillMyInsurance.com a call at 1-800-266-1575 or jump start 'em by filling out this form:

https://www.billmyinsurance.com/copay-quote.php

Worst case scenario they can't cover you and you took a minute of your time to fill it out. Best case scenario, which is more likely, is that you can get the equipment you need, that you choose, at a very low cost.

cpap.com is a cash based website that provides an itemized, insurance compliant invoice with each purchase. With this invoice, cpap.com customers have the option of seeking reimbursement from their insurance companies if they so choose. The prices on cpap.com are low because cpap.com avoids all contact and involvement with insurance companies.

The insurance section of cpap.com's FAQ explains this in better detail:

https://www.cpap.com/cpap-faq/Insurance.html#FGID-101

BillMyInsurance.com can not assist you in obtaining reimbursement for previously purchased equipment. However, if you have not received CPAP equipment from your insurance company recently and would like to do so, it can assist you with that and if you are covered, can estimate your copay for the transaction up front.

I'm sorry that the timing of our launch did not work out ideally for you. As you can see on cpaptalk.com and cpap.com, our small companies launch tools and services as quickly as possible but can't always get things out the door and to the customer at the speed we could like.

I would encourage you to seek reimbursement from your insurance company. Collect our invoice, your Rx and your sleep study and give them a call. There are many ins and outs, but at the end of the day you should be able to hold them to their commitments.

Johnny

WOW!

This was too late to help me purchase a machine this time around but I think that I will be looking at another mask in the near future and I am going to try going through BillMyInsurance.com and see if this works for me.

Thank you Johnny a great site just gets better and better...

Johhny, you better check the IP address on that person advertising that billmyinsurance.com site. They may be trying to run another scam here.

Johnny:
I have absolutely no complaints with CPAP.com. CPAP.com staff have helped me through this OSA thing better than even my own healthcare "professionals." Keep up the good work.
