Hello all,
I was recently given a prescription for a cpap. instead of buying a machine i acquired a basic machine from a relative that never used it. It is a Sullivan V lightweight. It has an always on function, or several timed functions. Should I stick with it or is there a good reason for spending money on a better machine?
Thank you...
Just Got persciption for cpap...

Its your life.
I would buy at the minimum a data capable machine with a card reader and software. (e.g. a respironics m series Pro) No other way to know if your therapy is working or how to optimize it. If you have to pay out of pocket, I would buy it at cpap.com - way cheaper than your local provider.
