During this past week, I have slept three nights taping as I used to, and 4 nights with the Chin Up strips...the white ones. When using tape, my IPAP pressure is running from 14 - 16.7 and my AHI is 3.8 to 5.1. With the Chin Up strips, my IPAP pressure is 12 - 13.4 and my highest AHI is 1.8. So, even though there is more expense involved, I am sticking with the strips. They are definitely more comfortable than tape and they stick very well, but are also easy to remove in the morning. I don't quite understand why they work, but they definitely do work, as when I have one on, I can't open my lips unless I really use a lot of force, but what is nice is that if I get thirsty after I'm all settled in, I can still work a straw between my lips and get a drink of water
I just placed another order for 60 strips, but when those are getting low, I am going to place an order for a roll of 500 strips for $149.00. I'll be set for almost two years then!!
also, I wrote to the company and asked for samples of the other types of strips they sell, and they are sending me samples...4 of each type, so I'm interested to compare the three different types of strips. Will let you all know what I think.

Re: Chin Up Strip Update
It will be interesting to hear your feedback on the comparison. I think that's an option I'd like to try as I experiment with nasal masks.
