I just installed Encore Pro 1.8 on my new Vista machine and forget to tick the remind me not to erase card option, so did the download of several months of data, and then realized EP had erased the card. All I can see is the compliance data in EP. Is there anyway to get the full apnea reports from EP, or Encore Pro Analyzer, or did only the compliance data download into the database, and therefore all the apnea data is gone gone gone?
Help would be appreciated. There are several weeks of data I'd still like to analyze.
BTW, the data came off my Repironics Autopap M series.
Just exported the data as an xml file, and see that it has all the apnea data in it. Anyway to read this data graphically? Or re-import it so I can see it in Encore pro?
I screwed up erased smartcard, can I get apnea data back?

The card only holds a max of 7 days full data. If you erased the card you lost that and the compliance data, unless it's in the Encore Pro data base. Are you sure you asked the program to show you the full data. With Encoreviewer you don't have the database server that Encore Pro does. Jim

I didn't erase the card, but after the download EP did erase it. So the data is in the database. But it seems I can't run anything but a compliance report on it, even though there does appear to be AHI and such data in the exported (from EP) XML file. Am I missing something obvious?

Using Encore Pro to look again at a report that's already been downloaded from the Smart Card:
Start up Encore Pro.
Doubleclick patient name.
Doubleclick the Sleep Therapy Compliance Download you want to look at in the Interaction List.
A "Report Options" window will pop open giving choices:
Summary
Trend
Full Details
Click the circle for "Full Details" to put the dot there for "Type of Report."
On the righthand side for "Specify Date Range", don't change anything. Just leave "All Data" and the "Date Range" stuff as it is.
Click "ok."
After the "Generate Report" window has finished, a new window called "Report Viewer" will open.
The full report is there. It might seem like it's only one Summary page because using the scroll bar at the righthand side only goes to bottom of the page you're looking at. Scrollbar doesn't take you to the next pages.
To go to the next pages of the report, use either the PageDown key on your keyboard or click the tiny green down-arrow button at top of "Report Viewer" window.
The Daily Details graphs begin on page 4. I don't even bother to look at the summary stuff on the first three pages. I "pagedown" quickly until I see the page that has the first graph for Sleep Therapy Daily Details -- on page 4.
While looking at a report through the Report Viewer, if you want to save the report as a PDF to another folder in your computer you can click File - Export PDF - Save in (whatever folder you wish) - filename (whatever name you want to give it) - file type (don't change that - leave it as .pdf)
I created a folder called "C:\EncoreProReports" where I save each download as a PDF file.
Saving each download as a separate PDF makes it easy to look at the entire report again without having to start up Encore Pro to see it. If someone else wants to look at the report, it's easy to email to them by attaching the PDF.

Re: I screwed up erased smartcard, can I get apnea data back?
thanks so much Rested Gal. You are obviously better rested than I am, since normally I can figure out these kinds of things. It worked beautifully, and I can see all 11 pages of the report. I will also take your advice and routinely save a PDF file of each report since that eliminates the possibility of lost data. Thanks again.
Problem resolved. By the way, I had no problem installing and running Encore Pro on a Windows Vista Home Basic Dell system. The only issue is that when I run the program Vista will default to a more basic color scheme. This doesn't bother me at all.

I am glad you recovered all the data, if that is what you want.remstarcpap wrote: ....... There are several weeks of data I'd still like to analyze.

But why worry about several weeks of data? The last five days should give you a good idea of what is going on and what needs to be improved.
Good luck.
