Quite a while back I got in touch with Resmed about the Activa mask in general being too big for smaller faces and women. At that time the product manager got back to me saying that they were indeed working on that. Next the new LT came out but was not in a size small.
Last week she got in touch with me again and said that it now comes in size small and she sent me one to try out. It is indeed smaller and does fit me quite well. I am still experimenting with it but it fits very loosly and seems to do a good job with leaks. Just wanted to let anyone interested in a size smaller than medium, that it now exsists.

Re: New Activa LT Mask!
Thanks a lot! I've been looking at the Activa LT as a possible nasal mask alternative for me.
They said that it did not come in "small". I was also told that the "medium" would be equivilant to a "small" in the original Activa. This would mean that "small" in the Activa LT, would be even smaller - more like an XS.
Have you tried it and do you know if the recently released small Activa LT is smaller than the original Activa small?

Re: New Activa LT Mask!
Yes, I am trying it out now. It does say SMALL on it and looks like the others. I do not know if it is actually for sale now or not. I recieved mine as a trial from the company. So far so good. I am still working with it at night. I will be using this as a switch out from my Swift LT. As I was told you do not have to tighten the straps tight at all. It fills with air and forms a seal that way. I have been using it with my papcap and not the head-gear that came with it. I am pleased so far.

Re: New Activa LT Mask!
i was using a mirage micro and that was a small size, i was reasonably happy with it but did tend to have to fiddle a bit each night to get it to a position that it would not leak. The resmed machine i use is a bit picky about what masks can be used, the activa lt was one of them so i was interested to give it i try- from measurments it suggested that the small in the older mask i was using was equivalent to the medium in the activa lt - i took the chance and i must say that i am very happy! it seals beautifully and feels like there is no mask there - my only complaint is that i cannot wear my glasses wich means watching bed time tv a bit rough but thats a bad habit anyway!- i will keep my mirage micro as a backup but my preference is the activa lt!
Re: New Activa LT Mask!
Thanks Kebsa. This helps since I also have, and sometimes wear. (I like to switch about with my masks - pillows to nasal) the Mirage Micro in a small. I'm thinking that the ActivaLT medium would be a good fit for me in the light of your experience.

Re: New Activa LT Mask!
I can't wait to try this mask! I wonder of it's less bulky than the original. I love the seal on the Activa, but the bulkiness makes me feel and look like the Elephant Man. Or woman.
