How do I load .pdf doc to Photobucket?

Post by JoyD. » Thu Apr 16, 2009 12:50 pm

.
Hi all,

How do I upload a .pdf document to photobucket? When I tried, it said it had to be a photo file like .gif, .fpg, etc.

Thanks
Joy

Joy, I don't think Photobucket will take a PDF file. As I remember what I did was to load it in Photoshop Elements or one of the many other photo programs and then tell it to save in JPEG or one of the other formats that will load on Photobucket. If you have a problem with this I will be glad to send you my e-mail address and let you send me the file and I will convert it and send it back.

Well, while we're on the topic, how do take a series of JPGs and turn them into a continous PDF?

If I scan this manual for DSM, all I will have is individual pages of the book as individual JPG's. He wants a PDF. How do I put those together?

All I could think to do was to insert them into a word document, with page breaks between each JPG, then turn that word doc into PDF format. Sounds like I'm re-inventing the wheel. Must be a better way...

Cheers,
B.

I currently have a stash of Nasal Aire II cannulas in Small or Extra Small. Please PM me if you would like them. I'm interested in bartering for something strange and wonderful that I don't currently own. Or a Large size NAII cannula. :)

There is a freeware utility that I believe is called Scan2pdf---- takes mutliple scans and assembles them into a pdf. I don't think it will work for you since you already have all the jpegs. Without Adobe Acrobat, your idea of putting them in a Word doc and them "printing" as a pdf is a pretty good one.

I actually have Acrobat at work, I just don't know all about how to use it.

Mostly I use it to make existing Adobe forms "typable" for the general end user.

So, tell me more!!!

I've been using PrimoPDF... another free thing... it sets itself up as a pdf printer... you print to it, and you can append to it as well. End result is a pdf.

Good to know! I've used another free PDF creator in the past, I think it's PDF999 or something like that. I don't remember being able to APPEND, however. That's a great tip! Thanks!!!

I use this too. You just print the document and choose primopdf as your printer... simple

I have a copier/fax/scanner at work that you can email yourself a pdf from... excellent.
