2 weeks of aggravation and still going

Post by Diehart » Fri Apr 10, 2009 7:34 pm

After 2 weeks and a total of over 30 calls to my Doctor, DME, Referral Service and Sleep Therapist I finally was called by the DME to swap my M-Series Plus for a DeVilbiss IntelliPAP Auto and the Smartlink module that I requested. The APAP works fine but the Smartlink had the dreaded EA1 Module Fault code, aggggggg! I swear I'm losing sleep because of all this. The DME didn't test the module!!! I'm glad this forum is here so I can vent to folks that understand my pain.

OK, I'm taking a deep breath . . .

I called Devibiss and their support said it was bad and needed to be replaced. I passed the info to my DME. The DME said they have another module and will swap it on Monday. I'm also waiting for the software.

Thirty calls!! Ok, another deep breath. Surely the worst is over. Hope once you get the module and software you'll be as happy as a kid at Christmas and quickly forget how many Santa lines you had to stand in to get the goodies.
