Need a cheap CPAP?

Post by Babette » Tue Apr 07, 2009 12:22 pm

http://secondwindcpap.com/

Another poster just posted this, and I'd never heard of before.

Hope this helps someone!!!!!

Also check http://www.craigslist.org for your town. Sometimes they are way overpriced, but you never know. I saw a free one in Seattle recently.

In my area, there's http://www.2good2toss.com. I haven't found much cpap stuff there, but you never know.

And there's Freecycle on Yahoo Groups. There's a JILLION of those, so I'm not going to post a URL. Go to http://www.yahoo.com and drill down to Groups, then surf for Freecycle in your area. Everything there HAS TO BE FREE. Could be a resource.

Ebay has some masks and supplies. No machines anymore.

And, of course, http://www.cpapauction.com

Best of luck!!!
Barbara

I currently have a stash of Nasal Aire II cannulas in Small or Extra Small. Please PM me if you would like them. I'm interested in bartering for something strange and wonderful that I don't currently own. Or a Large size NAII cannula. :)

I have bought two CPAPS from http://secondwindcpap.com/ The owner was very helpful, and the machines I bought were exactly as described. I was happy with the DS400 I bought from him, and that is why I returned to get my DS-500.
I don't think CPAP.COM can be beat for new equipment and great service. But for those on a tighter budget, and perhaps without insurance a refurbished or "gently used" machine may be the way to go.
