Sandman Auto Reports- Cable vs Card- Need advice

I have the Sandman Auto and software Series 1.2. I use the memory card and it works great on my desktop that has Windows XP, however I bought a laptop that has Vista and the Sandman Card will not work on it. I think I have read somewhere in the forum that the download cable that goes directly from your machine into the computer would work with the Vista. I was looking at cpap.com to price the download cable and it states that it works with Software Series 1.1. Does anyone know if the cable will work with Series 1.2?

The sandman card reader will work with vista but you need to force the operating system to install the driver on the supplied cd rather than the generic one that vista will attempt to use.

Thank you sleepy angler - I followed the link and even with my "limited computer skills", I was able to follow the directions and now I can read the reports on my laptop with the Card reader.
