CMS-50E Pulse Oximeter Spring Sale ($140)!!!

Post by NRA_Bear » Wed Mar 25, 2009 2:03 pm

All,

I just purchased a pulse oximeter from Southeastern Medical Supply, Inc. and noticed that they have a "Spring Sale" on the CMS-50E. Reading reviews in previous posts, I noticed that many folks on here paid as much as $200 for the unit, so it's at a significant markdown. As for myself, I went with the CMS-50F ($110 more, yikes ) for various reasons, but the CMS-50E has gotten good reviews from members here. As a bonus, they offer free USPS shipping and same day shipping if you order before 12pm. I ordered mine last night, they shipped it out earlier today, and for some reason they even upgraded me to UPS with a scheduled delivery of this Friday . Here's the link to the product page if anyone is interested:

I am in no way affiliated with the company beyond being a customer, nor do I in any way claim to be an expert on pulse oximeters. It's up to y'all to do your homework before buying the device, but I figured some of y'all wouldn't mind saving a few bucks .

Tehe... . Pre-CPAP I would have been too zoned out to pick up one the sale.

It's kind of a lot of money even at $140. Do you find it helpful and useful often?

I have this oximeter and really like it. It's very easy to use although the "translated into English" Users guide is a little tricky.

I use mine about once a month. If my data seems out of line I use it more often. It's easy to check it with my cpap machine data and see what was happening if my oxygen levels drop some.

I actually ordered mine from this very same placed based on someones recommendation. Despite the fact i'm trying to cut back on costs right now. I think information will be good to have once i figure out how to interpret it.

I can also use it during my 12k bikes rides to find out how hard i'm really working out.

Kenny do you have a Flexible Spending Account at your work? If so this qualifies so its 30-40% off for me as I have an FSA.

We have a cafeteria plan that I belong to, but getting diagnosed with OSA was a surprise, so I didn't account for the amount for my yearly contributions. I only did my usual one prescription and a few doctors visits.

Bummer...
