Hope this hasn't been covered before, searched and didn't find anything. Does anyone know if there is a formula for converting leaks given in LPM to a corresponding loss of pressure given as CM H20. Just curios,
my leaks are pretty well under control, but read a friends card last weekend and he has major leak problems. He says he is sleeping well and feels good the next day. He wanted me to read his card so he could have an idea of what was happening at night. Lots of events and his AHI average for 10 days use is
7.2 with one night going to 12. He is using a Mirage Quattro with a Remstar Auto set from 8.4 to 12.4. He has a full beard that may well be contributing to his leaks. Wondering how much pressure he is losing to leaks.

No such formula; just about any modern machine will have leak compensation, and raise the speed of the blower to maintain pressure. Of course at some point, the leak becomes to great for the machine to compensate, and pressure will drop. The higher your pressure, the sooner this will occur.

That would be comparing Apples to Oranges, LPM is volume, X CM is pressure. Flow vs Pressure. Jim
