Re: cleaning mask.... oily skin + drool....help!!!
I have very oily skin also and use whatever dish detergent we happen to have to scrub the cushion until it squeaks and my face (well - but not squeaky) just before going to bed. It usually works.
ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet / F&P Simplex / DME: VA
It's going to be okay in the end; if it's not okay, it's not the end.

Hi there,
I hear your problem, I make sure that I keep my skin scrupulously clean right before bedtime, I also wash the mask seal every day with washing up detergent (I think you call it dish soap) I also find turning your humidity down as far as is bearable helps reduce any sounds should they start occurring - and if it's really bad then I guess I'd just resign myself to getting up halfway though each night's sleep to wash the mask and my face - at least getting up once is preferable to however many apnea events you have per hour (for me it was bad- around 100 per hour ) so getting up once for mask maintenance is nothing
Good luck and sweet dreams x

Welcome to the forum, Ogud. Some members may point out that you're replying to an old post, but I think it's always useful to share information - especially for newbies who haven't read every post available.Ogud wrote: ↑Tue Mar 13, 2018 6:12 pmHi there,

Ah ok - sorry - I just noticed nobody had mentioned that turning the humidity down helps reduce those noises / I hadn't noticed the age of the post - I'll mind that I'm the future - thanks x

Welcome to the forum, we need people with good hearing, hearing a 9 year old echo, almost sets a record. Usually as old as we are we can't even hear talking. JimOgud wrote: ↑Tue Mar 13, 2018 6:12 pmHi there,

You hear your HH, your hearing is good. We only hear breathing and fans. But as I said we are old.
