How do I fix AHI ???
Re: How do I fix AHI ???
I would definitely go to CPAP! Auto is wrong for you. I would set your pressure at 10.5 Sleep on your side ( it may take awhile to get used to, but it WILL be better...MAKE yourself do it). Try for 7 hours sleep, anything more just builds up CO2 in your blood! Ever notice how groggy you feel if you get a ton of sleep? say 8 to 9+ hours...it's the CO2 build up in your blood. Another heads up here. When you get up in the morning DO NOT shoot out of bed! SLOWLY bring yourself up and sit on the side of the bed. Disconnect your mask. Sit and wiggle your feet, stretch your arms up, slowly twist side to side. Move your head SLOWLY from side to side, shake your arms out. Spend at least 30 seconds to one minute doing this...know why? Your blood POOLS in your system as you sleep, this is one of the BIG heart attack problems in the morning! People rocket out of bed and BAM! If they were prone to a heart attack, this is a good way of bringing one on. Remember, SLOWLY rise in the morning. Over time you'll feel better. Also, try the CPAP setting for at least 4 days and see what the readings are.
