The Result of Spring Forward
The Result of Spring Forward
All the clocks here set themselves forward including my computer. Here is the effect of the spring forward. I hate to see how data will be omitted on fall back.

Re: The Result of Spring Forward
Very good point would be interesting to see info from last year's "Fall Back". But truthfully, I'll happily deal with the 1Hr potential data loss to get the extra "free hr of sleep." Oh, but wait, that was my pre-XPAP brain at work. Now that I'm months into Bi-Level treatment I don't know
Anyway, thanks for the info, have Enore Pro on order so, I'll see soon.

Re: The Result of Spring Forward
Linus, I didn't even notice that. I did look at the data and figured the gap was from when I got up for a run in the middle of the night. Upon closer look it is the time jump.
Just out of curiosity, what program are you using. I am using encore pro and I don't have that graph on the bottom like you do. Also how did you post that on here did you copy and paste?

Re: The Result of Spring Forward
I am using Encore Pro (not the viewer version).
By the way I think the software interpreted the time correctly. My other items such as the SleepTracker Pro and a Pulse Oximeter both moved the start and stop times up one hour without inserting a 60 minute gap.

Linus, I have the pro version too but don't have that displayed. Also how did you get that into here?

Re: The Result of Spring Forward
You only get the graph if you are running in Auto mode with a range of pressures. This is what it is telling you about the pressure it adjusted to. In straight CPAP mode you won't have the graph.
It is interesting also because if you look at the green time line it will tell you that you slept an hour longer than you did. If you are also running Pro Analyzer it will subtract the hour and gove you the correct time you slept.

Gerry you have to post it on a image service like Photobucket and copy and paste the image (IMG) file to your message

Thanks, when I get things worked out with my machine and my head cleared up some I will have to look into that so I can put images on here.
You mentioned analyzer software. What is that?

Encore Analyzer by James Skinner. It's a pretty sweet program that uses the MS SQL Server database from Encore Pro to show you various graphs. It's shareware...

Re: The Result of Spring Forward
It looks like you got your questions answered on the graphs. One thing I can point out. I take the PDF output and bring it into photopshop, and save it as a jpg. It would be easier to export from Encore Pro as a TIFF. This way you can upload the image to photobucket. I do it the hard way because I always export a PDF in the morning. Sometimes I sample a PDF for posting.
Re: The Result of Spring Forward
Thanks everyone. Once I get my machine problems worked out which better be this week I will come back to this post and give it all a try. My head is just a little too foggy at this time to handle anything more.
Thanks again.
Gerry
Thanks again.

Re: The Result of Spring Forward
Darn, I won't find out what effect spring forward had.....I forgot to put the card back into the machine yesterday.....again.
Meanwhile, I felt all rushed and everything when I woke up this morning. I didn't get all the clocks set forward or some of the other rituals...before I had to make a mad dash off to write a test. The new 2pm came a lot sooner than I had expected.
Anyways...I passed the test, I wrote the Extra Class test.
The Dreamer.

I've done that twice and it irks me to no end!!!TheDreamer wrote:.I forgot to put the card back into the machine yesterday.....again.
I have finally gotten into a ritual of running my finger along the card before I get into bed...
