seeking qualified ENT for septoplasty/turb. reduction

Post by snoredog7 » Wed Feb 25, 2009 2:01 am

I live in the Los Angeles area and am seeking an experienced ENT for septoplasty and turbinate reduction and possibly uvuloplasty. Can travel anywhere in CA for a good doctor. Does anyone know of a good referral? Thank you!

Good luck in your search and please report back about your surgery, recovery, and post-op experience and need for CPAP. You are my trailblazer!

Not necessarily a referral, but the nice part about being in California is that ground zero worldwide for sleep medicine is Stanford. Their surgery guys are at http://www.sleepsurgery.com/index.html, and I know Dr. Park has mentioned a lot of the protocols he uses came out of there. Sure there are a number of others out there who've trained with these guys and/or are perfectly good and/or more local, but if you can't find anywhere else you can always just go to the originals.
