Whatever mask works is the best one for each of us, isn't it? While I can say that i found the Liberty to be better than the Hybrid, while similar, there are others who would not be happy without their Hybrid.
I think that there is so much to be considered in mask choices that there is almost no generalization possible. The mask fitting guide at cpap.com recommends that I avoid several of my favorite masks. It also recommends some of my LEAST favorite masks.
Since the beginning of my CPAP days, it has seemed a mystery to me that there is no custom-fitted mask available...I believe that there was a company in Africa doing so at one time. However, I have been unable to find this company again. They may have gone out of business OR I could have dreamed the whole thing. Is there such a thing as wishful dreaming?
To back up Ozij's suggestion, trying to tweak your humidifier settings may also be helpful. Too little or too much humidity can make me congested.
I also saw a recent turbinate reduction procedure that took under 5 minutes recently on "The Doctors" . Under 5 Minute Procedures--Turbinate Coblation Video
Karen,

Be kinder than necessary; everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.
