Well, looks like all the links have expired. Anyone have an updated file around somewhere?

Are these needed when traveling with the CPAP? I traveled once with it and didn't have any problems with it, but I will admit to being extremely nervous going through security.

No, they are not NEEDED.
TSA people recognize the CPAP / APAP / Etc bags easily withOUT them.

I have one my DME gave to me & I don't ever use it.
But, I do carry it in my APAP bag.

None of the links work

If someone would be kind enough to e-mail them to me (sean@cavemansolutions.ca) I can upload them to my server.

I got a free letter from my sleep doctor to use with the airlines that states that this is medical equipment, and I need it. Also printed out a list of the CPAP machines that are approved for airline travel. I figure I'm covered if I need it for air travel. However, when I flew during the summer, there were no questions asked when I carried it on the airplanes, and I was on a few *smile*. So it may be that as the number of people that carry these increases, that the airlines/TSA are becoming real familiar with them. I wouldn't be without the letter from my doctor, though, just in case.
